I am not used to be a tourist in my own city. The truth is that I do not intend to be one. But, for the first time I decided to go on a guided tour in my own town because the topic interested me. In the end, mainly because of Nuno, the tour guide, who is a nice guy, I didn't have the feeling that I was a tourist and I learned something more about my city.
I recommend this type of tour to those who want to genuinely experience the city like a local.

We had a lovely journey with Nuno through the ancient and magnificent Porto, and had the chance to find out a lot of curious fact about this city and it's arquitecture. Nuno is a great host and has a deep knowledge about his city, which he cares so much. Very reasonable price for what is offered. Highly recommended.

Obrigada!

"I met Nuno in Porto and I can say he pretty saved my day! It was raining and I was kind of disappointed in the city... and then Nuno spent an entire afternoon with me, showing me the beauties of Porto ! Without him I would certainly have kept a bad memory of this day :) " Laura Claire

Excelente guia!"

"It was to be a rainy day in Porto so we saw this as a good option to spend the day.
We met Nuno at the metro station and walked to his apartment a short walk from our arranged meeting place. The apartment had a wonderful view from his dining room across to old Porto and was modern and clean.
Nuno's English is very good and his knowledge of the city and the architecture great. We chose 2 traditional Portuguese meals which Nuno demonstrated the cooking method whilst drinking the local red "douro" and some appetisers of ham, olives, cheese, crusty bread & olive oil from the family farm.
Whilst the lunch was cooking we spoke to Nuno about the town and history.
Lunch was consumed continuing our conversation whilst taking in that great view. Lunch was followed by fruit salad soaked in port, and of course a glass of port, again made from fruit sourced from the family farm.
This was a bargain taking close to 3 hours and highly recommended "
