"It was to be a rainy day in Porto so we saw this as a good option to spend the day.
We met Nuno at the metro station and walked to his apartment a short walk from our arranged meeting place. The apartment had a wonderful view from his dining room across to old Porto and was modern and clean.
Nuno's English is very good and his knowledge of the city and the architecture great. We chose 2 traditional Portuguese meals which Nuno demonstrated the cooking method whilst drinking the local red "douro" and some appetisers of ham, olives, cheese, crusty bread & olive oil from the family farm.
Whilst the lunch was cooking we spoke to Nuno about the town and history.
Lunch was consumed continuing our conversation whilst taking in that great view. Lunch was followed by fruit salad soaked in port, and of course a glass of port, again made from fruit sourced from the family farm.
This was a bargain taking close to 3 hours and highly recommended "
